Making Life Easier for People Living with Sight Loss through Training

Knowledge is Power! In this case it’s the power to make the lives of people living with sight loss that little bit easier through effective staff training. Our courses will enable you and your colleagues to confidently support your customers and fellow employees who live with visual impairment.

Small Changes – Big Differences

Simple changes to aspects such as layout and lighting, together with an increased awareness of the needs of people with visual impairment can result in huge improvements to their experience when visiting your premises. Not only will this improve staff morale, it can boost profits too. You’ll be seen as a caring organisation that puts corporate social responsibility into action which often leads to increased loyalty from the people it benefits and their families and friends.

Our training options include:

Visual Impairment Awareness for staff teams to enable them to support customers and colleagues living with visual impairment

Accredited Continuing Education and Training (CET) for Optical and Sight Loss Professionals to foster closer links between the two sectors and improve inclusion and accessibility for patients with visual impairments

Open Courses – these are held at public venues or we can come to you (subject to minimum number of attendees).
